Mikey met Seanie in a bookstore and their first conversation lasted an hour. That night Mikey showed his whale rescue footage to Seanie and Eric Gravley, and a vital component of the Betapunks and BadTV was born: A sort of Mikenstein who kept shooting and shooting and shooting, for years, amassing hundreds of hours of video footage of our artistic and social experiments. He's the best videographer going, and both Black and Blue have aspirations at serious video skills; he's patient, shy, big, and willing to get all angles of an event. Mikey made his No-Budget Trilogy, a threesome of 30-minute movies with hard-to-believe action sequences shot for the cost of pizza. A graduate of Charlottesville with a degree in Rhetoric and Communications, Mikey's letters of protest and dismay are classic.
