Sean saw a storm in the eyepiece and discovered Switi. Since her name is Inuit for a baby killer whale, Switi has had a charmed existence. She grew up in sequins and velvet in the Imperial City, and has become one of the top dancers in the United States. She was always willing to hoof it up for BadTV, and now some of her acting pieces are beginning to appear on DVD or on the web. She's got her sights on bigger fish, but remembers the beginnings with BadTV fondly: "Every day was a dragon with bigger teeth and pretty eyes, every puff of smoke another vibrant dream. How can I forget dancing with swords and shooting sharp poetry?" Sean worked with Switi for three years on a variety of projects, and had her in mind for many of the characters he wrote about. Switi was easy on the eye, and hard on the mind, he says, a sort of uber-chick with supernatural powers. Rhythm in her legs, and a rhyme in her heart. "She was like a weapon for me, and helped me win so many battles of the kind that rage in any creator's mind. What to make? Who to be? Switi was the perfect disguise."
