Daniel got BadTV the moment he saw it. Why isn't it on everywhere? He's a promoter of entertainment and like us he worries about the state of the planet. To fuse the arts with an aggressive defense of nature struck him as a common sense approach to the future, so he came up with the plan for integrating BadTV with a certain famous desert festival in which a human effigy goes up in flames. We can't say the name here because we respect the wishes of the fest to remain commercial-free, but we will say that we hope to have D.Lock gifting our vids to mud wrestlers, nudists and eco-worriers. "I'm game for change," says Daniel. "I saw Pretty Monster on BadTV and thought it should be featured at a trance fest or techno sprawl, and that's what I intend to do with it. The message is cool, and the medium delivering it is smart and sexy. I will sign up for that all day long, no sweat. I like the idea that some kid is starig at the images of the huntress stalking the chemicals executive, and then suddenly thinks, Whoa, I'm being asked to think. This is the opposite of dulling the brain. I see my job as being a reminder to Black and Blue that there is a business responsibility to their actions. Arty-farty is nice, but the world is burning up and it's time to do something concrete, effective, something valuable." Just the kind of spark we need beneath our feet. D.Lock is our burner in the Valley.
